Water Connections Tour 2024
Lackon and Queensland Water Directorate kicked-off the 4-day Water Connections Tour. Our journey to the heart of the Outback from Mount Isa to McKinlay, Richmond to Winton, each day brought together, new people, ideas, challanges and perspectives.
The Tour shed light on the immense financial and operational burden ageing infrastructure has on regional councils, highlighting the importance for State and Federal funding to support, maintain and improve the quality of drinking water and sewerage services provided to regional communities.
