CQUniversity Fire Main Upgrade Project

CQUniversity - Rockhampton Campus
CQUniversity’s Rockhampton North campus sits on 132 hectares and was first established in 1967. Since then, the campus has undergone multiple expansions resulting in a diverse range of new buildings, roads, and recreation areas. As the campus has expanded, so has the fire main service which is made up of various materials such as cast iron, copper, fibro piping and uPVC of which some sections could be up to 50 years old.
The purpose of this project is to replace the existing dedicated fire hydrant main throughout the Central Queensland University Rockhampton North Campus with a new and compliant system. The project also includes the installation of new sections of fire hydrant main to suit future stages of work.
Lackon is providing Project Management Services and Superintendent's Representative Services to deliver this project.
