Eurobodalla Shire Council NSW
Lackon is currently engaged by Eurobodalla Shire Council to provide project management services for the Moruya Housing Infrastructure project. This project aims to facilitate housing development in Moruya by designing and constructing infrastructure to support up to 1,000 Class 1 buildings (homes) in areas already zoned for residential development. It is funded through a combination of the Government's Accelerated Infrastructure Fund and Council resources, with completion targeted for 2026. Once finished, the project will deliver significant benefits to the community by providing affordable housing options and easing pressure on the local housing market.
The scope of work includes upgrading intersections to increase capacity, improving active transport connections, and implementing mountable roundabouts as traffic calming measures. Additionally, new trunk stormwater lines will be constructed, and lead-in roads developed to enable further land expansion for future development.
Lackon assisted Eurobodalla Shire Council in delivering the first stage of the project, which involved developing a detailed project plan. This plan outlines how the project is defined, developed, delivered, and operated, with a focus on achieving optimal outcomes and value for money for the Council and its ratepayers.
Currently, Lackon is providing project management services to support the second stage of the project – the construction phase.
