Mount Isa Landfill Stormwater Diversion

The project involved the design and construction of civil upgrade works to manage the environmental impact and conditions associated with landfill leachate and stormwater inflows. The project presented significant environmental benefits to the local area, including a reduction in contamination and compliance with the Mount Isa Landfill Environmental Authority, as described in the Mount Isa Landfill Site Development Plan.
