This project delivered the detailed design of 3.2km of a 2.5-3m wide shared path along the Barkly Highway from the Isa Street/Fourth Avenue intersection to Milne Bay Road. Markham Valley Road was used as an alternative to the Barkly Highway from Owen Stanley Road to Milne Bay Road. The delivery of this project significantly improved public safety, amenity, and cycle network performance. This project was partially funded by Transport Main Roads, QLD, Cycle Network Local Government Grants scheme.

Lackon provided project management services throughout delivery of this project.
