Lackon previously provided comprehensive programme and project management services for the rehabilitation works on a bioretention basin at Polaris Drive in Brassall. This project aimed to enhance water quality by rehabilitating the existing stormwater treatment devices, enabling the basin to temporarily hold and treat stormwater runoff before it enters the creeks and waterways. The scope of works included vegetation, weed, and sediment removal, along with regrading and revegetation efforts.
In support of Regen, Lackon played a crucial role in delivering the civil component of the project, overseeing procurement, construction planning, the formulation of project start-up documentation, and providing onsite technical management during construction. The civil scope encompassed detailed earthworks in accordance with the DTMR MRTS 04 Specification, as well as the demolition and installation of RCP drainage lines and stormwater pits. Additionally, the project involved the concrete encasement of stormwater drainage lines, the installation of precast outlet units, and the placement of Reno rock mattress units for slope protection.
