Regional Collocated Emergency Services Precinct

Lackon is currently providing Project Management Services and support for a state-of-the-art operations centre project, funded by the NSW and Australian Governments under NDRRA. The purpose-built facility is designed to enhance the efficiency of local emergency services in disaster planning and response, improving response times, coordination, and overall support for the community. The project also includes upgrades to training and equipment for emergency personnel, ensuring they are better equipped to handle emergencies.

Commissioned by ESC, Lackon developed and delivered the comprehensive Project Plan, which detailed how the project would be defined, developed, delivered, and operated to achieve the best possible outcomes and value for money for the Council and its ratepayers. The plan encompassed a detailed Project Timeline/Gantt Chart with critical path analysis, resourcing requirements, engagement strategies for internal and external stakeholders, and a thorough review of grant funding requirements to ensure compliance. Additionally, Lackon examined project costings and deliverables, prioritised tasks based on funding and deadlines, and conducted a detailed risk assessment to identify potential risks to the Council throughout the project's lifecycle.
