Lackon provided Project Management Services for a significant initiative funded through the Restart NSW and the Australian Government’s Roads to Recovery Grant. This project focused on delivering essential Transport and Water infrastructure capital expenditure projects. As part of this extensive program of works, our team was responsible for providing superintendency, project management, contractor management, and construction supervision for the contract.
The project involved advancing a concept design to detailed design and documentation for two main drainage structures: a new multi-cell structure at Smythes Corner on Lachlan Valley Way and a culvert replacement at Murie Creek on Gipps Way. In addition to these drainage works, the project included associated road improvements and upgrades aimed at achieving flood immunity for a 1 in 20-year event. Procurement tasks were completed in late 2021, with construction scheduled for execution from December 2022 until September 2023.
