Teemangum Street Bridge Replacement - D&C

Lackon successfully delivered the construction of a new bridge over Flat Rock Creek on Teemangum Street, Currumbin. The previous road crossing, comprising 20 reinforced concrete culverts dating back to the 1970s, had reached the end of its design life. In its place, a single-span bridge was constructed.

The scope of works involved several critical tasks, including the relocation of underground utilities, temporary removal of a section of road, culvert removal, realignment of the road, piling, and the construction of the new bridge.

Lackon provided comprehensive project Superintendent, Inspector, and Superintendent’s Representative services to ensure the successful delivery of the project, effectively managing all aspects of construction and compliance throughout the process.
