TMR intersection upgrade and associated Yirendali Road works

Lackon is currently providing Project Management Services for the Yirendali Road intersection upgrade in Hughenden, Queensland. This project is a priority enabling work in the Flinders Shire, driven by the anticipated increase in heavy vehicle movements associated with the CopperString 2032 program and construction activity linked to the $225 million Flinders Substation. Working in collaboration with the Department of Transport and Main Roads (TMR) and Flinders Shire Council, Lackon is supporting a coordinated delivery approach that strengthens road safety, improves traffic efficiency, and ensures the intersection is fit-for-purpose for higher-volume construction traffic while maintaining access for the local community and road users.
