Main Range National Park

November 2024 - May 2025

$0.6M

Queensland Parks and Wildlife Service

The Department of Environment, Science and Innovation (DESI), through Queensland Parks and Wildlife Service (QPWS), have identified the need to construct a set of circuit steps to replace the existing circuit steps within Queen Mary Falls section of Main Range National Park, Spring Creek
Road, The Falls to meet current and future management purposes.

The project will consist of upgrading the existing circuit steps located along the Queen Mary Falls Circuit by replacing the existing steps with a new structure that includes fibre reinforced polymer (FRP) steps flanked by a pedestrian barrier on both sides, as well as prefabricated synthetic rock concretesteps with a pedestrian barrier on one side.

Lackon is currently providing Superintendent’s Representative Services to deliver this project.
